I love animals. I have always loved animals. But it took a dog so shy she spent her whole life under the table and another who thought she had to defend herself with her mouth before I really began to understand the world from their perspective. Now I help others find greater harmony with their pets through positive teaching methods as well as Tellington TTouch.

Because of my dog teachers, I have a particular fondness for helping shy and reactive animals. If you live with a canine or feline who lives in fear, I can help.

We can show our animals what we want without resorting to fear, force, bribery or coercion. We have spent thousands of years with canines and felines, and yet in modern times we seem to have lost our ability to communicate across species lines. There is a growing movement to restore and rejuvenate this connection, and I am proud to be able to share it with those who want richer and more peaceful lives with their furry friends.

I am dedicated to continually expanding my own skills, which is why I host instructors from other parts of the country to teach workshops on methods that complement this core philosophy of mutual trust, respect and cooperation.

You already talk to your animals, in all likelihood, so why not learn to convey to them what you’d like them to know? And the dialogue, by nature, is a two-way street, so learn the ways your dog or cat is trying to tell you what she needs. The result is more ease, more joy and more fun with your animals. Isn’t that why you got them in the first place?
